BDO Serbia provides advisory services to companies implementing their growth strategies through the purchase of equity—a majority or minority stake—or assets. Our M&A team is involved in the entire process, from identifying target companies in Serbia and other South East Europe countries, to signing a Share Purchase Agreement and transaction closing.
The advisory process is tailored to individual requirements of each of our clients and, in most cases, comprises the following phases:
- Pre-transaction services: including the identification of target businesses, if requested by the client;
- Preliminary analysis and valuation: as agreed with the client, may involve the valuation of equity or assets;
- Due diligence, negotiations, and transaction closing: in cooperation with other BDO Serbia service lines, includes financial, tax, and commercial due diligence of the target, as well as assistance with the negotiations and transaction closing.
