BDO Serbia offers advisory services to companies as to how to maximize the value of their business or assets in the sale process. BDO Serbia boasts extensive experience gained in the privatization process in Serbia, as well as in advising privately-owned companies in the sale of their equity—a majority or minority stake—or assets.
Our engagement in the sale process is comprised of all phases, from the identification of potential investors and valuation of equity or assets, to the assistance with the negotiations and transaction structuring and closing. A typical sell-side advisory process includes the following:
- Pre-transaction services: as agreed with the client, may involve the preparation of a long list and short list of investors, Investment Profile, Information Memorandum, and other documentation, as well as the valuation of equity or assets;
- Marketing and investor selection: includes communication with investors, up to the point of the submission of a non-binding offer by the investors;
- Due diligence, negotiations, and transaction closing: if requested, may include Data Room management for the purpose of due diligence by interested investors, as well as the assistance with the negotiations, and transaction structuring and closing.
